This sculpture is on loan to an exhibition at RHS Garden Hyde Hall until September 2013.

"Behind any success, there is a mentor who inspires. In my case, I was inspired by Locardia Ndandarika. I believe I got my skills from her. I decided to express the idea that there is a teacher. Mums also play an important role for children to become mature; in many ways, that's where mentoring begins."

The smaller person is being mentored by the higher one, and becoming greater through the support that they give them. Authur is expressing the mental and psychological support that can be vital for the self-discovery that enables success.
