The frog's bulbous eyes bulge out to observe the world around.

This is a lovely little sculpture, full of humour, by the much missed Fanizani whose quirky style won him fans worldwide.

Part of a collection of sculpture bought by Guruve directly from the artist in 2007 - these are the last ones! The sculpture is accompanied by a photograph of Fanizani with the piece to guarantee authenticity - unfortunately, since his death, forgeries of Fanizani's work have been seen on the market.

Leopard rock is the local Zimbabwean name for a particular type of serpentine stone, typically coloured black and pale green. It is very hard.
