A quintessential example of the much missed Fanizani's soft and quirky style. A minimal shaping of the surface of the stone creates a head with pursed lips.

A cheery fellow just like Fanizani was himself. This is a lovely little sculpture by the much missed Fanizani, whose quirky style won him fans worldwide. His sympathetic sculpting style makes even the hardest stone appear as soft as ripe fruit.

Part of a collection of sculpture bought by Guruve directly from the artist in 2007 - these are the last few pieces! The sculpture is accompanied by a photograph of Fanizani with the piece to guarantee authenticity - unfortunately, since his death, forgeries of Fanizani's work have been seen on the market.
