On the right hand side of the sculpture is the sun dropping down incrementally towards the horizon. The left side represents a head; the hole is their eye watching the sun set.

A deceptively clever piece by one of our top young abstract sculptors.

Flower serpentine is the local Zimbabwean name for this exciting new variety of serpentine stone. It is hard, colourful and very diverse - every piece of stone is unique. This variety with its deep red colours is particularly hard, reflected in the slightly textured surface.
