The chief has been good to the village, so the villagers want to make a tower of people and fetch the moon to give it to their chief as a special present.

An unusual and imaginative piece, with Jonathan's confidence as a sculptor shining through, as you'd expect from an artist who trained with the great Joseph Ndandarika and is already well-respected internationally.

If you like Jonathan's work, you might also enjoy sculptures by Boet Nyariri and Rufaro Murenza.

Springstone is a hard type of serpentine; it is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display. We would recommend covering a sculpture during a hard winter though, just for peace of mind.
