In recent years in Zimbabwe, there has been a craze for buying quails' eggs! People believe quails' eggs can cure, amongst other things, cancer and HIV infection - all due to unregulated marketing strategies from the politicians who own quail farms!

The economic and political situation in Zimbabwe is all-pervasive, and all art - even something as apparently innocuous as a sculpture of a quail - is imbued with critical commentary from the artist.
