The thicker side represents the strength of a solid relationship, the stability that comes from having someone you can depend on. On the end of the other thinner branch, Perlagia has left some of the stone with its raw unworked texture; this is meant to represent love going on into infinity because it has not been capped by the sculpting process.

Perlagia makes a very welcome return to Guruve after a break of at least five years, while she married and had children. We were one of the very first promoters to buy her work, and her career has risen rapidly. Now that she has begun sculpting again, expect her profile to rise even higher as she is the best young female sculptor in Zimbabwe.
