The flickery shape reflects the shape of dancing flames.

The beautiful colouration of the stone probably also inspired its final form.

Tanyanyiwa is a very talented abstract sculptor, and this deceptively simple piece encapsulates his style - it is also tremendous value for a unique work of art and a fine example of our belief that we should provide art of the highest quality for all budgets.

'Fruit serpentine' is the local Zimbabwean name for this very colourful, slightly translucent type of serpentine stone. Each small mine has its own unique colour and texture combination, and this is a particularly lovely example with its peachy pink highlights.
