"The spaces within the stone represent the sun, the moon and a droplet of rain. They are all the things in the sky that influence living things, that bring life."

Inspired by being selected to take part in an international artists' competition in 2015, Tanyanyiwa brings elemental forces and contemplates what shapes us through his powerful yet simple work.

This is a real 360° sculpture and the limited number of photographs make it hard to do it justice. More photos are available on request.

Springstone is a hard type of serpentine stone. The green lines are natural veins in the stone.
