Guruve's annual Summer Exhibition of contemporary Zimbabwean sculpture in June 2011 in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire.

The grand opening was on Saturday 11 June, from 10am - 5pm, with drinks, and the main exhibition continued across the two weekends until Sunday 19th June.

The venue was the glorious 5-acre garden at Hopleys Nursery in the beautiful village of Much Hadham in Hertfordshire. Hopleys have very helpfully provided a map and directions.

Works by some of the most famous names in Shona sculpture were exhibited alongside the leading lights of the younger generation.

An online catalogue is now available.

Hopleys is a family-run nursery with a 5-acre planted garden. We will be transforming the wonderful gardens at Hopley's into a sculpture garden for our annual art exhibition. It also has a lovely tearoom with cakes and cream teas available.

Much Hadham is one of the prettiest villages in Hertfordshire, About a mile away is Perry Green, where Henry Moore lived and worked and where the Henry Moore Foundation is now based. Also nearby is the Gibberd sculpture garden in Harlow. (Please note you do need to make an appointment to visit the HMF.)

Any questions, please call Emma or Tim on 01920 872949 or 07956 897978 or email us.
