The venue is the glorious 5-acre garden at Hopleys Nursery in the beautiful village of Much Hadham in Hertfordshire. Hopleys have very helpfully provided a map and directions. Sculptures on display will include works by:
We will also be exhibiting sculptures by some of the most famous names in Shona Sculpture on behalf of third party sellers, including:
An online catalogue will be available nearer the time. Hopleys is a family-run nursery with a 5-acre planted garden. They have an excellent reputation in the plants world, having exhibited at RHS Chelsea Flower Show for many years. We will be transforming the wonderful gardens at Hopleys into a sculpture garden for our annual art exhibition. There is also a wonderful restaurant with healthy lunches, picnics and cakes and cream teas available. We'll try to negotiate a 10% discount again in the Hopleys Café on our Grand Opening day Saturday 16th for bearers of our exhibition invitations (no promises!). Much Hadham is one of the prettiest villages in Hertfordshire, About a mile away is Perry Green, where Henry Moore lived and worked and where the Henry Moore Foundation is now based. An outstanding exhibition of Rodin and Moore's work is on all this Summer, which we highly recommend. (Please note you do need to make an appointment to visit the HMF.) Any questions, please call Emma or Tim on 01920 872949 or 07956 897978 or email us. exhibition catalogue 2012 | sculpture gallery | previous exhibition photos | london exhibition 2011 |
