As with so much of the best work of the younger generation of Zimbabwean sculptors, less is more ... and this is a fine example of elegantly simple and uncluttered abstract sculpture.

This is also a very unusual example of Antony's work, in that he rarely uses the contrast between textures that is so common in Shona sculpture as a whole;
here, however, he uses it to fine effect as the crisp delineation between contrasting surfaces sharpens the lines of the piece.
