The proud winner wears the champion's sash.

Boet takes his time creating wonderfully elegant sculptures with beautiful detailing.

There are a great many artists in Zimbabwe making representational sculptures - and while they may look OK from a distance, few maintain that impact up close. Often they are let down by imprecise finishing and poor technique that, to our experienced eyes, reveals a lack of skill and attention to detail.

Boet's work, however, is on a different level - his pieces are fresh and dramatic and the technical skill is unsurpassed. Once you've seen Boet's figures, nothing else will do. In 2010, he has achieved national recognition by winning the sculpture category of the prestigious NAMA competition.

Springstone is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display.
