SOLD

A stunning but simple work by one of Shona sculpture's best-known sculptors, the Zambian artist Fanizani Akuda.

Verdite is a very hard semi-precious stone. This particular piece has lots of purple corundum. Verdite is mined in Zimbabwe for the corundum and this beautiful stone is thrown away as waste.
