An abstract representation of a pregnant woman: the upper circle is her head, and the lower circle is her belly containing the unborn child. Fertility is absolutely central to Zimbabwean society and pregnancy is both expected and celebrated.

Ishmael is one of our top young artists. His work is wonderfully abstract and more angular than our other star, Onias Mupumha. We have promoted Ishmael since he was a teenager when we spotted talent even in his earliest work.

Springstone is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display.
