The top two thirds of this piece represents a bird; the bottom two thirds is a person. The person has a bird spirit inside them. The spirit protects the person and he communicates with it.

This is the sculpture with which Ishmael came so close to winning the sculpture category of the NAMA competition in 2008. He was one of 2 runners-up, and our other star artist Onias Mupumha was the winner of the sculpture category.

Springstone is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display.
