Mbiti (River Seal)
Kennedy Phiri

Fruit Serpentine

64cm (h)
35cm (w)
25cm (d)

53.5kg

£850

'A little seal that plays in the big rivers of Zimbabwe.'

(We're not sure if these actually exist or if Kennedy has a vivid imagination!)

Fruit serpentine is the local name for this hard, colourful and slightly translucent type of serpentine stone. It looks its best in strong light, preferably natural light. This particular piece is a lovely pink variety.
