Kukandira
(Laying Eggs)

Munyaradzi Jeche

Springstone

91cm (h)
43cm (w)
38cm (d)

60kg

SOLD

This gorgeous sculpture of a seedpod also has a small dolomite marble egg (not pictured), the size of an oval grapefruit, to place inside.

As with so much of the best work of the younger generation of Zimbabwean sculptors, less is more ... and this is a fine example of elegantly simple and uncluttered abstract sculpture. It's one of the highlights of this year's selection and a real collector's piece - Munyaradzi Jeche is the man of the moment and he's definitely going places.

Springstone is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display.
