Kneeling For Peace
Munyaradzi Jeche

Springstone

82cm (h)
30cm (w)
28cm (d)

42kg

£1,300

An abstract representation of a kneeling figure with hands clasped in prayer.

This is a quintessential Jeche sculpture, and a very good investment piece.

Munyaradzi Jeche is one of our top young artists and this year he has produced the best work of his career so far. Please make the time to take in all the pieces he's made - they are breath-taking.

Springstone is the local name for a hard variant of serpentine stone. It is a particularly good sculpture medium, as it has a very even internal structure of small grains of rock; it is dense and has very few flaws. It is the favoured medium for Zimbabwe's most famous sculptors.
