This is the only large work by Nesbert in this year's selection, unfortunately. It incorporates many elements so typical of Nesbert's work, in particular the delicate face.

Nesbert is at his best and most original when he plays with both shape and texture, moving away from the slightly tired spherical works for which he is so well known.
