Acrylic, sand and binder on canvas, metal

2005

60cm (h)
60cm (w)

£995

'Sainumako' suggests looking into the far distance, searching for someone on the horizon, and not finding them.

A continuation of Touray's "Invisible Women" series of abstract paintings.

Women rise early, before sunrise, to pound the grain, and they greet each other through the sound of the pestle on the mortar.
