Wild Beauty
Norbert Shamuyarira

Springstone

72cm (h)
25cm (w)
25cm (d)

26.5kg

£850 (Reserved)

Wild and unruly strands of hair whip around in the wind.

This is technically an extremely accomplished piece of work. It's very difficult to extract the stone from within the strands of hair without the stone breaking, for although springstone is very hard it can be brittle during the sculpting process.

This is the prize of this year's selection by Norbert, and a very nice collector's piece.

Springstone is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display.
