Joyful Owl
Peter Chidzonga

Lepidolite

25cm (h)
18cm (w)
8cm (d)

6kg

SOLD

An exceptional small sculpture executed with Peter's customary attention to detail and perfect finishing.

Deep purple colouring in the lepidolite indicates the high quality of the stone.

Lepidolite is a semi-precious mineral of the mica group, containing lithium. For the geologists among you, find out more here although we think the Zimbabwean mineral is of a similar hardness to quartz, not calcite.
