Breakdancer
Peter Gwisa Springstone 53cm (h) 38cm (w) 23cm (d) 19kg SOLD This sculpture echoes the swirling eddies of a whirlwind. Peter's work is both complicated and very simple. He manages to convey a twisting, twirling movement while keeping the finishing very clean. The result is intriguing sculpture combined with great technical ability. Springstone is the local name for a hard variant of serpentine stone. It is a particularly good sculpture medium, as it has a very even internal structure of small grains of rock; it is dense and has very few flaws. It is frost-resistant and is suitable for outdoor display. |
