A wonderful use of a beautiful piece of stone.

Lemon opal stone is the local Zimbabwean name for a particular type of serpentine stone. It is grass green and slightly translucent; it needs to be well-lit to bring out the detail in the stone - sunlight is best. It is about the same hardness as springstone. It does not contain opals.
