This is a very collectable piece in a beautiful stone by the greatest living Zimbabwean sculptor.

Lepidolite is a mineral of the mica group, containing lithium. For the geologists among you, find out more here. This stone came from Bikita, one of two sources in Zimbabwe. Bride by Richard Mteki is made from lepidolite from the other mine, which is a deeper purple.
