“I think you should be very proud of the website – in the last fortnight I have reviewed everything there is on the web following a search of ‘Shona Sculpture’. Guruve is head and shoulders…above any other in terms of range of original, good sized, varied pieces and, very importantly for me content, context and ethics.”

“We are very pleased with the piece of Tanyanyiwa’s work that we recently purchased. We were impressed with the level of knowledge and passion that you both displayed whilst we were deciding on which piece was the right one for our home, and we can say wholeheartedly that we have definitely made the right choice, the work looks stunning in its new home and has provoked many comments from our friends. We look forward to viewing more work from your featured artists in the near future.”

“She’s arrived and she’s gorgeous!!! […] it seems you have a really worthwhile business. We always hear about the fate of the whites in Zimbabwe but obviously the native population is also badly affected by wretched so-called politics. I have wanted for a long time to do something for those people who can’t escape but feel that just giving to charity is not the answer, the money only going to those in power. I feel now I have made a very small contribution but will definately (sic) buy more in the future and if you have any suggestions as to how I may be able to help more please let me know.”

“Just to say how much we are enjoying the two Newman sculptures. They really do have very powerful energy and look and
feel great.”

“The sculpture arrived safe and sound. The crating was magnificent. It could have survived being dropped from a second story building. Everything was first class. The sculpture is beautiful.”
Paul, Georgia (USA), on delivery of his Norbert Shamuyarira sculpture (2008)
“It was lovely to meet you both too. We’re delighted with our new sculptures – although they do have the effect of making the ones we already had appear somewhat crude!”

“Hi Emma & Tim – thanks for making us so welcome on Saturday. As my grandma would say, we’re “chuffed to bits” with the sculpture.”
