The solid stone represents a family, each facet is a separate family member. They are held together by the power of love – the negative space (hole)  in the centre of the sculpture.

This is a lovely small sculpture by one of the most exciting young artists working in Zimbabwe today, and is great value for money as an original and unique handmade sculpture.

This lovely creamy-white stone with mottled pink highlights is a variety of serpentine from an area not far north of Harare called Domboshawa. It is related to the pale green serpentine known as ‘common opal’ stone, and it’s not quite as hard as most of the other stones we show. Therefore we recommend it’s only shown indoors – but it’s too small for outdoor display anyway!

This sculpture is in the UK and will be shipped from there; P&P at buyer’s expense.
