This delightful sculpture represents two siblings, where the eldest is reaching down towards their smaller, younger brother or sister.
This hard variety of serpentine stone has been named ‘avocado’ after its green and yellow colouration. However, this particular piece of stone is a very dark green, almost black, so the colours are much more subtle. Hints of swirls of pale yellow dance through the stone like the northern lights.
