While we might dispute Charles’ title – clearly, over history, hard times have indeed killed the very unfortunate in many societies – we can applaud his central message. Don’t let troubles overwhelm you, but rather view them as necessitating a more dynamic attitude, an active approach to finding a way around, over, under or across them.

Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. It has a uniform internal structure with very few flaws. This makes it a perfect medium for more technically challenging sculpture, where the sculptor removes parts of the stone. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor display.
