A typical work by Ephraim, who is famed for his charming animal sculptures – especially of horses. He is one of the last living ‘first-generation’ artists from Zimbabwe’s shona sculpture movement.
This colourful stone is quite a soft variety of serpentine, and we therefore recommend it for indoor display only. All the colouration and lines in the stone are entirely natural.
