This charming piece was originally bought from the Contemporary Fine Art Gallery in Eton, UK in 1992. The gallery bought it directly from Henry himself.
The seller met Henry in 1994 when Eton hosted a solo show of his work. Henry Munyaradzi is the most sought-after name of the Shona sculpture movement.
It is in exceptional condition for its age, with just a tiny chip on the back, and has obviously been well cared for. Henry’s signature is deeply etched into the base.
The sculpture is accompanied by various literature, including the original receipt from the Eton gallery and our certificate of authenticity.
Beware of less scrupulous people than ourselves selling non-authentic ‘Henrys’ – if the piece or the price looks to good to be true, there’s probably a reason for it.
This piece is in the UK and will be shipped from there;
P&P at buyer’s expense.
