Lepidolite is a mineral of the mica group, containing lithium. This variety of lepidolite, from the mine in Bikita – one of just two sources in Zimbabwe – is a lovely shade of lilac. Interestingly, we also have another sculpture by Jonathan from this year’s collection in the darker lepidolite from the other mine, in Mutoko.
