Looking down on the sculpture from above there are two circles: the bigger one is the man, the smaller one is the woman. They have their heads together, so their thoughts are in union.
Looking at the piece from the side it is heart-shaped, so the couple are joined by their love for each other.

Lepidolite is a mineral of the mica group, containing lithium. This stone comes from Bikita, one of just two sources in Zimbabwe. It’s an extremely hard type of stone, and is absolutely fine for outdoor display. All colouration and texture within the stone is entirely natural. In the sunshine, small crystals of mica within the stone catch the sun and glitter.
