This lovely example of Nicholas Mukomberanwa‘s work is being advertised for sale on behalf of a private collector.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a small work by the late great Nicholas Mukomberanwa, one of the most respected names in the Shona sculpture art movement. The piece has clearly been cherished for many years and is in exceptional condition.

In the late 1990s, the owner of a well-known and reputable gallery specialising in Zimbabwean sculpture purchased this piece directly from Nicholas. The gallery (the Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, Eton) sold the sculpture in 2000.

The current seller acquired this piece more recently, at auction in the UK. Happily, the original gallery paperwork has stayed with the piece.

This piece has immaculate provenance, giving the collector great peace of mind.

This piece is in the UK and Guruve will ship it from there; P&P at buyer’s expense.
