Playing Birds

Springstone (Serpentine)

  • 29cm (h)
  • 17cm (w)
  • 8cm (d)

The two points representing the beaks of two birds – so they are dancing around each other.

A delightful sculpture reminding us that it is common in the bird kingdom for pairs to form lifelong partnerships; they perform graceful dances together to reinforce their relationship.

This piece is also excellent value for money for a unique sculpture. It is fundamental for Guruve that our smaller pieces are of equal quality as the larger pieces, so customers with a smaller budget do not have to compromise.

Springstone is the local Zimbabwean name for a very hard variety of serpentine stone. It is an excellent sculpture medium as it has a dense, even internal structure of small grains of rock and very few flaws.
