“The points come together, like a meeting of minds.”

Two people having a discussion; as they talk, they find they are coming closer and closer together in their views.

This lovely sculpture is a super example of Nesbert’s minimalist style, with its utter simplicity and clean confident lines. Mastering the art of simplicity, of knowing when to stop, is an art form in itself!

It has a strong silhouette and it’s also a very versatile size. It could be a fantastic focal point displayed in a large interior space, against a pale backdrop. Our tip: get maximum drama by displaying it framed by a tall thin space e.g. between two windows or at the end of a hallway.

Alternatively, it would be equally impressive as a centrepiece in a small garden or on a patio or terrace, picked out with a spotlight at night.

Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. It is suitable for outdoor display, as it is dense and impermeable and has very few flaws that might be exacerbated by frost action. All colouration and texture within the stone is entirely natural, merely enhanced by the application of a coat of clear wax. The green lines are veins in the stone – they are entirely natural and are not cracks.
