The two birds lean their heads so close together, their necks intertwine. They are whispering secrets to each other, and they don’t want anyone to overhear their private discussion.

Nesbert’s confidence as a sculptor shines through in the simple yet dramatic lines of this striking sculpture.

This variety of serpentine stone, called springstone, is a perfect material for sculpture, as it is dense and hard, with small grains and very few flaws. This is especially so for technically challenging works such as this, where the artist removes much of the stone and leaves a delicate shape.

This sculpture has very delicate parts. Therefore, in addition to our high quality crating and packing, it will need special freight services. Do contact us and discuss, if you will need it shipped to you.
