“As the rising light grows stronger and the mist floats away, the beauty queen begins her day.”

Peter uses this beautiful young female stork as a metaphor for the excitement of youth, when any day you might meet a life partner. She is coming into her prime and looking for love.

This tall thin elegant sculpture combines confident lines with restrained finishing – and it’s super value.

Peter creates the feathered effect by stroking the surface of the sculpture with a blunt rasp. This abrasion lightens the surface of the stone, giving a great contrast of colour and texture.

The piece is in the UK and will be shipped from there;
P&P at buyer’s expense.
