A mother is singing down to her child, to keep the child happy.

The lower loop is the child; above them is the mother’s head. At the top are two loops for eyes, and a gap like a mouth. Her mouth is open and singing.

Peter’s work is a wonderful combination of complexity and simplicity. He manages to create a twisting, twirling movement while keeping the finishing very clean. The result is an intriguing sculpture combined with great technical ability. He is one of Guruve’s most popular artists.

This tall elegant sculpture would make a super centrepiece for a garden, as it has interest from every angle.

Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone.  It is dense and impermeable with very few flaws that might be exacerbated by frost action.  It is suitable for outdoor display.

[Please note that the granite slab in the photo is not included. However, we do have some circular slabs in sparkly black or pale grey available for sale – please enquire if you’re interested.]
