Chief’s Head

Springstone (Serpentine)

  • 33cm (h)
  • 21cm (w)
  • 22cm (d)

A chief’s head with an eye at the top, and the hole below is his mouth.

“The eye is for watching over people and making sure they behave well; the mouth below is for communicating, solving problems and adjudicating between people and communities.”

There is a very pleasing simplicity to this lovely smaller piece by one of our best young sculptors. It is also tremendous value for a unique work of art, and a fine example of our belief that we should provide art of the highest quality for all budgets.

This is a real 360° sculpture and the limited number of photographs make it hard to do it justice. More photos are available on request.
