A person with their arms cupped, one over the other, holding the world in their arms.

An abstract idea represented very simply in three-dimensional space, resulting in a lovely abstract sculpture.

‘Fruit serpentine’ is the local Zimbabwean name for this very colourful, slightly translucent type of serpentine stone. It comes from Kwekwe and is of a similar hardness to the black serpentine known as springstone. Each small mine has its own unique colour and texture combination, and this is a particularly lovely variety with coppery swirls.
