How COVID-19 affects us…

Like much of the world, the UK is currently under government lockdown restrictions. This means that, for now, we are not able to offer viewings.
However, domestic and international delivery companies are still operating.

So please do go ahead and be tempted, and we will be able to ship your sculpture to you.

We can reserve sculpture(s) for you while we get shipping quotes.

We’ll be unpacking pieces from next week onwards, and we will prioritise unpacking pieces that have been reserved.

Overseas customers – do note that sterling has had a dramatic fall since the COVID-19 outbreak began, so our prices (denominated in pounds) have become even cheaper recently!

Please feel free to share this post with any friends/family/colleagues you think might be interested. Thank you and enjoy the new sculptures!

Zimbabwean Shona artist John Takawira

John Takawira

Sculptor

John Takawira’s boulder-like sculptures radiate power and strength, softened by his use of the rough natural weathered textures. He has the most works of any Shona sculptor in the Permanent Collection of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
