A sophisticated, superbly abstract piece of contemporary sculpture. Of course, over the years we’ve come to expect such high standards from Munyaradzi Jeche. He is one of Zimbabwe’s most talented sculptors of the current generation.
It’s great value for money, and just goes to show that you don’t need a massive budget for an original work of art.
We named this hard variety of serpentine stone ‘avocado’ after its striking pale green and yellow colouration. The colours in the stone are entirely natural, enhanced with a coat of clear wax.
