Lepidolite is a mineral of the mica group, containing lithium; it’s extremely hard. This bright purple example comes from Bikita, one of just two sources in Zimbabwe.
All colouration and texture within the stone are entirely natural. Flecks of mica within the stone glitter in the sunlight, giving it an added wow factor!
On the back, Tafadzwa has left a little of the weathered surface of the original raw stone, just to remind us where the stone came from.
Tafadzwa’s signature is visible on the back. We also supply a certificate of authenticity and an artist biography, which includes a photograph of him with this very piece. Therefore, it would also make a lovely gift.
