Charles has sculpted it from a single solid piece of raw stone, so it’s a unique and original work of art.
Springstone is a hard variety of serpentine stone. Its tiny grains and even internal structure make it a perfect sculpture medium. Especially so for artists like Charles, where he removes substantial amounts of the raw stone to create ‘negative space’.
We have already drilled the base of sculpture, ready for installation, and we can supply a suitable pin.
