An elegant stylised head incorporating Nesbert’s trademark face with its delicate features.
The base is made of springstone (serpentine). It is a square 14cm across and 3cm in height. The total height given above is the height for the sculpture and base combined. The sculpture is pinned and glued to the base.
This hard variety of serpentine stone has been named ‘avocado’ after its striking pale green and yellow colouration; this is quite a dark version of this stone. The colours in the stone are entirely natural, enhanced by the application of a coat of clear wax.
